Rev. Rob Wilson, pastor
Born: Erie, PA
Education: Girard High School 1984-1988; Mount Union College, BA in Psychology, 1988-1992; Methodist Theological School in Ohio, Master of Divinity 1992-1995.
Pre-Church Work Experience: Served aboard the research vessel, Perca, as an apprentice deckhand; worked in high school as a grounds keeper for an estate and as an apprentice at a printing shop; worked in college at the Paper Factory, Curtze Foods, and the Pennsylvania Wood Guild.
Appointment History: Internship at Bethany UMC, Johnston District, during the summer of 1991; Appointed to the McKendree Charge, Springfield District, West Ohio Conference from 1992-1995; Appointed to the Bellview Charge, Indiana District, 1995-2003; Appointed at Seneca UMC, Franklin District, from 2003-2011; Appointed at Sarver: Zion UMC, Butler District, from 2011-2021; Conference Staff: Director of Congregational Development and Revitalization from 2021 to present.
Family and personal interest: I am the husband of Denise Wilson. We have two children, Anna Will (husband, Jeffrey Will) and Joel Wilson. I enjoy a whole variety of outdoor activities.
Pastor Rob has been appointed to the West County Charge including FUMC starting in July 2026.
